CBC Musical Nooners – Free Music all summer long

Do you like great live music? Do you like FREE music? Then you are in luck.  Starting on July 7th the CBC kicks off the 8th Annual Musical Nooners Series at the Outdoor Stage at 700 Hamilton Street Vancouver.

Opening this year’s free shows is a double header, with Fake Shark kicking things off at 12pm, and then Said the Whale performing at 12:45pm

Other performers coming up through the summer include

  • BC reggae artist Buckman Coe (July 11th ), who recently supported Ziggy Marley as part of the Vancouver Jazz Festival
  • Wesli (July 13) and Melisande (July 14) wo will be part of the Vancouver Folk Festival
  • 2016 CBC Searchlight Winner – Desiree Dawson
  • 2017 CBC Searchlight Winner – rockers – The Long War

There will be rock, folk, soul, pop, and even something for the kids…

The series raps up with the funky Coco Jafro on August 25th
