You would be hard pressed to tell that Old.Soul.Rebel have been in existence for less than two years. For a three-piece band, the sound they are capable of is immense, and tight. The band came together in East Vancouver over a mutual love of southern blues/rock legends Alabama Shakes. The band’s sound certainly has a southern soul vibe, combined with what their website calls “sum bad ass rock n roll”

Chelsea D.E. Johnson and Lola Whyte, both have incredible voices, and share the singing duties on their songs. OSR today treated the audience to several tracks from their new self-titled release, including Please Please, Lose Control and Runs in the family, and the wonderfully rock oriented O.S.R.

You can catch OSR on tour throughout Western Canada in July and August, check their Facebook page for latest dates. Head to their website for their latest music and news.
