LIVE AT CBC PLAZA VANCOUVER
Drawing inspiration from the legends of R&B and classic rock, including Muddy Waters and CCR, Wooden Horsemen delivered a blistering set at CBC Vancouver earlier today. The band have evolved since the earlier years as a three piece into what is at times as many as ten on stage. Today we were treated to a six piece that delivered a wonderfully full sound, with Cole Graham’s trumpet providing a rich accompaniment to the guitar and organ.
The band played a number of tracks from the 2016 EP Sentient, including Driving South, Always Running and the wonderful Be a Friend. Lead singer and guitarist Steve Beddal let fans know that they would not have to wait too long for some new tracks with a new release planned tentatively for the spring, and the potential for some new singles between now and then.
