Coco Jafro blitzed the CBC Vancouver stage this afternoon to bring this summer’s series of open air “musical nooners” to a close. They were the perfect act to close out the season, and their blend of funk/afro/jazz had the audience up and dancing for most of the show.

The eclectic seven-piece truly do bring together musical influences from across the world.  With members from Morocco, France, Mozambique, as well as Quebec and BC, they blend together these backgrounds for a truly intoxicating, fast paced experience which it is impossible not to enjoy.

If you want to catch more of Coco Jafro you can see them in Delta as part if the Luminary Festival on September 9th.
