The final act of the night at the Roxy Launch Project Finale was Cassandra Maze, and it was in interesting entrance to the stage, with Maze being carried over the shoulders of a security guard with a black bag over her head, and placed on seat under a single lamp ready for interrogation. It was an inspired start to the show, during with Maze and her band performed an energetic set, and were greatly appreciated by the crowd.

Despite the narrow stage, Cassandra made maximum use of it, and was able to constantly entertain the crowd from one end to the other, whilst continuing to belt out some solid songs. Sadly, we were only treated to around 30 minutes due to the tight schedule, but fear not the next chance to see Cassandra and band is only a week away.

Cassandra’s new EP “Velocity” is available on October 6th and to support the launch of the EP, Cassandra will be having a Launch Party at the Biltmore Cabaret on October 7th. Tickets Here.  Also on the bill as support will be fellow Launch Project finalists High Love, as well as the Jake Touzel Band
