Chan Centre for the Performing Arts

Perennial tourers Halestorm made a welcome stop in Vancouver on Friday night, playing a spectacular set at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC.

It has only been a little over a year since Halestorm where in the Lower Mainland. This time around the venue was the impressive Chan Centre for the performing Arts at UBC, a venue that likely sees less that it’s fair share of rock. The odds were certainly tipped in rock’s favour tonight.

After opening sets by wonderfully freakish Beasto Blanco, and an almost pseudo punky Palaye Royale the crowd were well warmed up for Lzzy and crew to take the stage.
Opening with I Am The Fire, Love Bites (So Do I) and I Get Off, the band set the tone for the night with a spectacular light show and no-nonsense rocking.
